Centres of Excellence at BEML - Vision

To become a state-of-the-art centre for technical training & Skill Development activities and help the organization achieve technological excellence in the products being manufactured.

Centres of Excellence

Four CoEs have been set up so far....

• Hydraulics at KGF Complex
• Structural Welding at KGF Complex
• Electrical & Electronics at Mysuru Complex
• Stainless Steel welding & Electrical and Wire Harnessing at Bengaluru Complex

The technical training would include theoretical and practical aspects and on successful completion of the training, candidates will be certified and their details, including photographs will be displayed at the respective shops. Suitable reward and recognition mechanism are also being incorporated for motivating employees.

Presently trainings are conducted only in-house and planned to be scaled up for outsiders after stabilizing and creating more infrastructure through additional resources.

Service Training Centres

• The conduct of Service Training Programme for the customers from all over the country and abroad, and for BEML Service personnel conducted at Global Service Centre at Nagpur, Service Training Centres at KGF and at Mysore have been streamlined. Equipment-wise training programmes including operator training for customer personnel on Mining & Construction equipments are held at KGF while Service Training Centres have been set-up at KGF & Mysore.
• Global service HQ is located at Nagpur.
• They train all service personnel of BEML and also vendors / customers.
• BEML service personnel are imparted training on ‘Dealer Development’ in addition to training on equipments at KGF and Mysore.
• Training Modules are tailor made and product specific.
• A potent combination of Theory and Practical training.
• Effective use of Training aids assisted by multimedia presentations using animation.
• All Training Labs being equipped with required machines and aggregates.
